What are the insurance implications of fitting 2nd hand airbag components? How do you feel about fitting 2nd hand airbag components that you can not test, and you have no idea as to their age, or more importantly the history of the part?
How would you feel if worse came to worse and the components did not work as they should have?
I know what I would feel like.
Even if the customer insists on 2nd hand parts, I couldnt and wouldnt do it.
Explain the situation, that these parts are un testsd with no guarantee they would work and if he still wants them fitted then tell him to find somone else to fit them!
