Had this in last week for a quick code read and road test - back in on Monday.
Car had ABS and DSC lights on then later speedo stopped working then apparently later still the central display on the dash stopped working.
Using Launch, multiple fault codes present, some cleared but most would not. Whilst not all necessarily connected, here are all the codes remaining from an auto test of the cars systems:
Car Access System (CAS)
AOB5 Fault,road speed signal
Digital Motor Electronics (DME)
CDA1 Message (steering wheel angle, C4)
CD98 Message ( torque request DSC, B6)
CD9C Message (speed, 1AO)
CDA5 Message (status DSC, 19E)
8 Vehicle speed
Instrument cluster (INSTR)
A3B9 Message (Dynamic stability control)
Lights module (LM)
(0, 0, e5, 3e ) Please refer to relevant technical manual.
Satellite , B pillar , right 2 (SBSR2)
9913 Seat-occupancy detector, passenger: open circuit.
My first thought was a speed sensor so a road test to check live data.Trouble is i couldnt find live data for ABS .I could only find the DSC system and there were no comms with the DSC.
My question is , is the correct and only place to look for wheel speed in the DSC module?
During the auto test of all the cars systems the DSC module did'nt even show up.
Cheers
Colin
