Hi,

Anyone have a lot of experience with these engines? What are the common mechanical failures?

I have a few enquiries about these to deal with next week. Used engines, which I hate, are crazy prices. I have a good mechanic working with me now and these may be a good source of work if they are worth rebuilding. No shortage of them around here. I looked at one a few weeks ago that had an obvious blown turbo but someone else has since worked on it and said its not worth repairing.

I have never opened one of these. Liners? Any input from anyone who knows these would be appreciated.
