As a quick "fix", I'm fairly confident this can be coded out by changing the dash coding to a fixed service intervals only coding - of course the car would then have to be on a fixed servicing regime.

Also check the wiring where it runs up the back of the engine near to where it feeds through a retaining clip on the block.
