Try being careful with the plip.

A: you will be amazed how far the signal will travel.
B: if the key (plip) is put in your pocket and the unlock is depressed by a coin or other object it will unlock the car and even lower the windows if depressed for only a few secounds.

Or it could be the wiring to driver door module at the module. I have posted here about it on other AVW models.
