hi all help required on intermittent problem on my own a6. Car locks normally but on returning to it some hours later i find all the doors unlocked and occasionally all the windows have wound down. Initially a fault code was stored pertaining to the hood switch which we replaced due to the micro switch corroded. Noted at this time the dash display for open door warning, illuminated the correct symbols for the doors and boot but does not show the bonnet is open.

All was ok for a few days then returned to the car and windows wound down and car open,no alarm and no fault code set. Reading previous posts and known faults have removed both front seats to check for wetness under the carpets and around the c/l control unit-found it dry as a bone.found wiring diag for bonnet switch on elsawin but to be honest cant make head nor tail of it.seems to be simple enough from c/l ecu to bonnet switch but brings in other connections to dash panel inset that i cant understand. Fault is only happening every few days but one day it is going to be raining. Still have the seats out so should i be checking anything else before replacing them. Can anybody check/test the c/l ecu and or dash panel or should i be looking elsewhere
