will agree with ACtronics we have had a VW & Honda unit done last year, looks a good repair, both still (charge £169 +carrage) OK.
If you go that rout, just warn customer of time, these are shipped abroad for repair so turn round is not that fast.
customer will be without car for about 2 weeks if things go to plan.
The Honda one we had a problem on fitting, which was fixed by them OK but took longer, even so was worth the wait as honda dealer had quoted £1400 for unit + vat + fit
