We had around 3 x done with Actronics prior to the VAG manufacturers repair being put on the market.
Earliest about 18 months ago - still working.

Incidentally, unlike some ECU reman companies - Actronics don't charge for testing if they can't repair it & they don't hold your ECU to ransom until you send them the money - give them a call & they'll let you know if they can sort it & what turnaround you can expect on it.

I'm not on comission when I say - they are a good company to deal with - honest & fair.

Since we bought our Autologic we don't bother with reman units any more - we just fit new, it's a 100% fix every time. Suffice to say we no longer use any ECU testing / remanufacturer.
