It is quite interesting to see how a forum progresses. People do move on, get other priorities or might get tired of other people not investing in knowledge and tools. I have been dormant here for many years, after I stopped working in my garage and subsequently sold. I suppose that I am slightly masochistic as after selling my share in an automotive suspension parts business, I am now thinking about starting a garage here in France. The thought of a high volume of Renaults is not very nice though. Also, the thought of being held to ransom by diagnostic tool companies is a bit daunting. Any other people that left the trade thinking about returning?
