Yes things have moved on since the early days (10 years) and it is shame that some of the old names do not post on here any more, but post on "other" forums
Here is a post from yesterday from a well known forum of allegedly more competent Technicians (only accessible if you buy their DVD's)

I cannot ever remember a post as poor as this on UKAT?
Hopefully members that join UKAT will learn from the forums as to what is required and as their knowledge increases they will contribute more in the years to come
Vehicle technology is about to take a steep climb over the next couple of years, even some of the older (like me) more competent members are going to struggle especially as the grey cells are diminishing
If you were starting out again (young lad ) how many of you would choose the Motor Trade again?
