Hi all

Audi A6 2002 with immo3, cluster VDO C5. Non start due to immo problem. Reader coil is in the ign so not handy to change. I have checked the wiring from the reader to the cluster.

I am trying to decide if I need a key or a reader coil.


Customer had two keys but only one worked, however they kept both keys on the same key ring and the car wouldn’t start unless both keys were present. So, only one key worked but I have no idea which one.
When I checked there was only one key coded. I have the pin code, tested as being correct, but the keys I have will not code. Coding procedure fails at the end. The light flashes instead of being on solid.
