) I am just curious as to why a crank sensor failure would have this effect.
And aparrantly scramble the transmission ECU coding, especially if it becomes unscrambled as a result of replacing the CPS.
and also how an ECU can identify a faulty CPS without the engine moving in a way that will allow it to lock the engine to prevent cranking but not actually generate a fault code for a faulty CPS.
I just like to know how these things work. thats all..
