I am tempted to try the crank sensor (Mentioned during various Google searches for this problem) but for the fact that...

a) Crank sensor is not listed as an ECU fault, where people have solved the "F-ing" problem by CPS replacement it generally seems to have been so.

b) I am bothered by the aparrantly corrupted transmission ECU identification data. Although I can see how a faulty CPS might cause a non-start (Though why a non-crank??? Although I understand it can on this model!) I can not see why it would scramble the ECU data (Or interfere with the scan tools ability to read it)
