I wanted to get the opinions from others that are experienced in Witchcraft. I have been extremely drawn to the Jinn/Genie. I have looked into this supernatural creature extensively, because I am uncertain of the true nature of the Jinn because they predate Islam, but are considered divinities of inferior ranking. The Koran states that they have free will just like humans, thus allowing them to be good,evil, or neutral.

I have tried to discuss aspects of the Jinn with people that aren't familiar with them. I only get references to the cheesy Wishmaster movie, which has a wicked and ruthless Jinn that steals souls for wishes.

Thoughts?
