There is a depth to the character of Baphomet that is seldom reflected in the ramblings of historians of the so called occult, divorced from the synergy of praxis and gnosis: He tends to bless those who share and curse those who push. Personally, I believe that the Templars were destroyed not because they practiced homosexuality, but because they were egotistical and allowed what should have been a free will thing to become a status thing. Osiris and Seth are both offended by the rape of secretaries by bad managers. And, Horus and Ra are offended by the subversion of personal liberty, especially in "alternative" organizations.
