Each team has their own way of managing playing time, and as Jessie stated some players will get to play more than others, that is the true nature of the game. If one plays better, they will obviously earn more playing time. Reduction in playing time can be an incentive to improve work ethic, where one can earn their way up. I, personally being on Mississauga team, have not had a playing time issue, nor did I hear about anyone else complaining. Everyone on the team has a different role to play. Past Championship teams know how critical each role is to the success of their respective franchise. Everyone on our team gets to play, and fulfills a certain role. If they cannot fulfill the role or are not satisfied, they can request a release from the team, to a team which would be more accommodating, as stated in the rulebook. Coming from a player who has had issues with playing time in the past, it is all a matter of effort and self-improvement.
