May 27, 2021. Tim Tufts:.. I live in southern< michigan. Regarding books on the Rymn-Type English setter. George Ryman Died in 1961.. His widow said during his 47 years of raising this type of setter, the raised 4,000 pups. Accept info, after George Ryman died, there are no more "Ryman's" only Ryman-Type. That 'uniquness is the way they are bred.. which is roughly half and half, half field bloodlines and half conformation bloodlines to produce: "The Gentleman's Shooting Dog". There is a litter 5 days old near Holly and another due about June 6 in Afton..If interested contack me Boondocks1935@hotmail.com.
