Maybe you and some fresh eyes can help with this semi-mystery photo. It's at the railroad museum and we were told it was "Carolyn (Lenan) Samuels and the Hemlock Crew," I remember you saying that Hemlock didn't have a section crew, and from the photo, we know it wasn't taken in Hemlock. Can anyone give an idea of when it was taken? Maybe in 1956 when she left Hersey and came to Hemlock? Maybe the Hemlock Centennial in 1964? Maybe when they were getting ready to close the agency in 1976? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
We've tried the last few years to reach Carolyn's son to no avail and I think he gave us the photo after she passed away in 1996, so it's a bit of a mystery.
And while I'm at it, if anyone finds/reaches/knows George Lenan, please put him in touch with the Saginaw Railway Museum through our Facebook page.
