I have a video in my collection, of a steam excursion that happened on the GTW in maybe the 1970's. They followed the train by helicopter from Chicago to somewhere around South Bend. After they showed a meet with a westbound at Valparaiso, they showed the train going through an interlocking and the announcer said, "And here they are crossing the Monon at Haskills." The interlocking was clearly the Missouri Pacific (now UP) at Thornton Junction. The next interlocking they showed they described as the C&O/B&O diamonds at Wellsboro, which was clearly the J and others at Griffith. I sent them a letter with the corrections, but I'm sure once the video is in the can and being sold, they never corrected it. Very nice historic video footage nonetheless... Bill
