Re: Claggetts and Glengarry
In the Manistee Historical Museum there is a photo of the Glengarry Depot, it is a wooden structure and looks to be nearly identical to the Onekama depot. Also there is a photo of Glengarry taken (I am assuming)from the hill to the north of Glengarry. It shows the depot, tool shed and the agents dwelling. Also there are two nearly identical warehouse type buildings to the east and behind the M&NE depot I think they might belong to the AA. On the right (west) of the photo is a factory of some sort with several houses around it. It might be the chair factory. One of the larger buildings must be the Mcpherson Hotel. If the museum cannot find their copy of the photo have them call me and I can bring a copy down to the museum in a matter of minutes. Somebody that is more familiar with the area than me could probably get more information from the photos.
