Mr. MMR...I believe the LSRC SD-70m's are still DC traction, and not AC. They got these from Union Pacific which were built in the early 1980's as DC traction. The later SD-70m's built for Union Pacific, and other railroads were an upgraded version to AC traction, and I believe these were post 1991 models and later.
