As I stated in the post below "roll call"...I am near Mt. Morris. Not a big town, but close enough to Flint to have a good population count. Lake State is now the railroad in town where Pere Marquette, C&O/Chessie/CSX kept the rails shined for many years. Since I am blessed to have seen all of the above mentioned railroads (exception Pere Marquette)run these rails over the years, I keep a good interest in this line. However, all Michigan railroads still keep my interest. And, I personally want to thank Tom Train for his continued support for posting Upper Michigan train information.
