I just watched some of those videos of Luke and Laura. I was a teenager at the time this all originally aired, and with no way to record it, I missed a lot. I remember while I was watching, back then I wanted Laura to be with Scottie and remembered the episode where he found the letter she wrote to Luke and how Scottie kept yelling at her and he wouldnt listen to her. Oh my word, I felt the same as i did then. It was just so intense. He was so angry! I could feel it! Now watching it with new eyes, I see how the writers, producers were able to turn the rape into a relationship between Luke and Laura. The whole story is so complex and the actors made it feel so real. Watching it too, its hard to believe Anthony Geary was just acting in some scenes.

Been a while since I’ve posted anything. Recently I decided to YouTube GH and came across Sussezq’s channel for all things LnL. It’s the first time I’ve rewatched since the original. Was curious if I’d feel the same way as a grandmother 🤪 as I did as a new mother staying home with an infant. Back then I accidentally found GH just by having tv on in the background and became transfixed very quickly by Luke & Laura. I’m feeling the exact same emotions but am even more impressed by the talent that Tony & Genie brought to the show. They immersed themselves to the point that you just can’t believe they’re not real! I have a question. Does anyone know why the scenes with “Think of Laura” as background music lose the sound? Very frustrating
