I’d put TG up against any actor in the industry and he wouldn’t even have to utter a word — his eyes say everything …… and GF held her own and grew into her role to the point that I could never watch either of them show affection to another character ever! Just couldn’t stand it. It still hits me in the gut rewatching it. Makes me yearn for more of their story …. which I’m sure will never be 😔 On the positive side, I missed their return in ‘93 (busy working, kids sports, school/church committees). So excited to begin (today!) watching this part of their story Previous Message
eI don't know about the music, Karen, but I too watched the Left handed boy story on youtube this summer. It holds up very well. In fact, the acting and writing were fantastic. It's hard to believe that Genie was an untrained teenager for much of the work. Tony transformed himself in that role. That character actor became a heart throb thanks to his chemistry with Genie. Nothing really compared to the early work they all did. The Ice Princess was affected by a writer's strike. The actors became restless about their careers being so widelyy identified in their roles. That first story was captivating, though. It still is. Previous Message
Been a while since I’ve posted anything. Recently I decided to YouTube GH and came across Sussezq’s channel for all things LnL. It’s the first time I’ve rewatched since the original. Was curious if I’d feel the same way as a grandmother 🤪 as I did as a new mother staying home with an infant. Back then I accidentally found GH just by having tv on in the background and became transfixed very quickly by Luke & Laura. I’m feeling the exact same emotions but am even more impressed by the talent that Tony & Genie brought to the show. They immersed themselves to the point that you just can’t believe they’re not real! I have a question. Does anyone know why the scenes with “Think of Laura” as background music lose the sound? Very frustrating
