I still have not seen anything from the 90's. I'm not sure that I would like a darker Luke. What captivated me from the beginning was the romantic Luke, the comedic Luke. I keep thinking about Windham's and the scenes in the beauty parlor, selling shoes, dancing to "Fascination". They gave us other glimpses of him in Emma Lutz's apartment and both of them at Whittaker's farm. Luke and Laura were at their very best, IMO, when they played romantic comedy interspersed with a little adventure. Scenes such as the sea sick Luke on the trip to the Cassadine island...those were a joy to watch. If I want to get depressed, I can turn on the news.
