Thanks goes to Guza. I might have hated most of his third return in the 2000s, but he pulled off some great stories in the 90s.
I adored Claire Labine's GH, but revisiting all this material decades later, it's so obvious how much more energized, and interested, Tony was in the anti-hero version of the character crafted under Guza.
Luke was darker, wilder, more unpredictable, hilarious, infuriating, and always interesting.
