Agreed, we (the old guard) Laura fans sur thought that “this was it!,” finally, they gave her the big speech in the bar, brought up Mary Mae, had her running against Ned. Ned still works at Days so I figured she’d win, But, we didn’t realize they had other plans.. Jon,Wally,genie would all be recurring, could be scheduled same day etc. and I bet the didn’t think she’d walk. Or that we’d fight. We were all wrong, all miscalculated. Now it’s a dance of saving face and renegotiating so we win.. and since I’m only guessing, don’t know anything or anyone. I’ll speculate further that Genie wants to be part of Gh when the final curt call comes. I hope she’s the matriarch and last face we see.
