Genie HAD a good story where she wasn't in the background, where she was going to be the lead in the story, tying her back to HISTORY of the show with the Charles Street angle....Lord, the mayor story was IT! She had just gotten married....things were beginning to cook. She had FINALLY gotten the new love she requested, and was starting in the "Laura" story that was promised to her.....then, just as things were getting off the ground, they drop her....demote her....same ole b.s. we've been battling for almost two decades now!
Nathan expounded upon something in a bull$#i% way, b/c they already had that going.....
Her base isn't going to accept that answer until we hear that Genie has been put back on contract and given a decent story. $ is NOT the issue....they has Fin, Maura, Steve, Maurice, William, blah, blah, blah....they've got the money....
So, that's my two cents...
