I'm sort of excited. This is the first response from anyone except "unnamed execs" that called the petitions possible un authentic bots. So for Nathan Varni (exec for GH and Scandal and a couple more) to be the first to break the silence with a response tweet to Genie's tweet (first one to GH) and the pod cast -which I need to go listen to-seems to be Big and important. Of course they could be blowing smoke. The 55th is coming up and I've been raising Cain about how are they gonna celebrate 55 yrs w/o Genie..I hope they aren't sucking up for that. If they get her to do clips etc for that and then put her back out to pasture I will go nuts on twitter and NEVER go back to GH..might not go back to ABC..lol. One other (prob. crazy idea) I was tweeting Roseanne about Genie..posted some old pics..asked her to give a shout out.. I just realized Nathan is in charge of Roseanne's show.. she's sorta opinionated. Maybe she got in his ear. Anyway, I think we need to keep the foot on the gas or even increase enthusiasm. Genie said she'd come back for a good story, meaning she didn't have to be on contract but wasn't gonna do standing in a corner holding a cup of coffee 6 times a yr. ~~~ Ginger, I do think they misjudged the push back. I'm not sure what the original reason for dumping her to recurring (other than reducing cost and maybe they thought they could have a little race w/ her Ned but on Recurring. Since Wally, Jon and Her would then all be same amount of time.. But she walked. Anyway..we'll see what the future holds. Wally has tweeted he hopes she comes back. others are starting to post things too. We need to stay loud or get louder.
