They have very little money to play with. They had a pan for Laura and suddenly changed it. If Frank thought he could get JJ but needed the money — he would have to cut somewhere. He already trimmed some “fat” for Steve Burton. He should have cut Maura West and Roger H. though - whether it. was for JJ or whatever. They both add nothing these days. And, if Lucky comes back, It makes sense that Liz will drop Franco i a minute. Liz and Franco are planning a big wedding in a few weeks. Perfect timing for Lucky. Total speculation but I know there was a reason for the abrupt change. Time will tell.
