I heard about the Kingston Trio breaking up on the radio back in 1961. I thought my favorite singing band was over. A few weeks later, on television, I happen to see the Kingston Trio with John Stewart replacing Dave Guard. I was mad as hell!

I stopped being mad after I heard the 'Stewart Trio' singing "Where Have All The Flowers Gone" on the radio. They sounded pretty good.

In time, I learnt to accept Dave Guard's departure but after I took home his "Whiskeyhill Singers" album, I kept asking myself -
