Yes, as Max said, thanks for posting this. I too was moved. Actually moved to tears. All I could see was Bob as I remembered him, live and on stage with Nick and John. Many shows I saw of them. Then in all the other iterations of the Trio. I saw them all. And Bob was always the mainstay. Until close to the end. And it got to me again that all my heroes are gone. And it made me feel my own age. We never know, do we? And I can't listen to It Was A Very Good Year without choking up and yes, sometimes crying. Sorry to sound sappy. I'm just not enjoying getting old. Or is it older?

I'm re-posting this from Kingston Crossroads since I know that some folks don't visit both Rick's site here and Xroads regularly. The short video is a lovely tribute to Bob, who died a year ago today.

Bob died a year ago on January 26, 2020, and in commemoration of that his widow Bobbie and some other friends arranged to have Bob's ashes returned to Oahu to be buried at sea off of the south coast of the island.

Earlier today, Bobbie posted a 12 minute video of the event to Facebook. The first several minutes include live footage on the beach, followed by a series of still photos from the two outrigger canoes that took the ashes to their final resting place, and finally a Fantasy Camp video of Bob performing "Scotch and Soda."

It is a quiet video and one that I think all of us who were fans will find moving.

As most here probably know, you have to be on Facebook to see its content. There are currently 1.7 billion active Facebook accounts worldwide, so chances are that if you don't have one you very well might know someone who does, and for my money the effort would be well worth it to see the video.
