Thomas Markle under investigation for ‘hundreds, if not thousands’ of child porn images: report

Posted by Martha on October 22, 2026, 6:44 pm

Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, is reportedly being investigated over child sex abuse images.

According to the Sun, Thomas Jr. reported his father to police after discovering “hundreds, if not thousands” of the alleged material inside several boxes in Thomas Sr.’s home in the city of Cebu in the Philippines.

An insider close to the Duchess of Sussex told the outlet, “Now maybe people will finally understand why she has had nothing to do with her father since 2018.”

Thomas Sr. and Thomas Jr. did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment. Reps for Meghan and Harry did not get back to us.

According to the outlet, authorities are prepping to seize the alleged evidence.

Thomas Sr, 82, left his home in May for the United States following a stroke that led to a blood clot, and the subsequent amputation of his left leg.

He reportedly left the images in storage boxes buried among family “mementos,” which Thomas Jr., 60, found while searching for a phone.

According to the Sun, Thomas Jr. reached out to the FBI, and a stateside investigation is reportedly set to be launched, as well.

After submitting his sworn statement to authorities in the Philippines on Thursday, Thomas Jr. told the outlet, “When I found this material I was horrified and I had no option but to report my dad.”

He added that while he has “supported, cared for” his father “and helped him for years, that “stops now.”

“I won’t speak to my father ever again unless I’m called to give evidence against him,” Thomas Jr. said.

Thomas Jr. reportedly told pals he found a 15-minute video of unclothed girls on an abandoned LG mobile phone while searching for a phone for his girlfriend’s father, and was “shocked and disgusted,” per the outlet.

The victims were allegedly “no older” than 10 or 11 years old, and were seen in “sex acts” in the video, along with three illicit photos of girls about the same age. One image was taken from the screen of a laptop, according to the outlet, and Thomas Jr. reportedly recognized Thomas Sr’s former residence in Rosarita, Mexico.

Thomas Jr. was said to have been left a “shaking wreck” after making the alleged discovering, reportedly telling one pal, “What I saw made me sick to the stomach — all this stuff was just dumped on me and I didn’t know what to do.”

Thomas Jr. reportedly said, “I knew right away it was highly illegal and would land me in jail for a long time if I didn’t get rid of it. I felt betrayed, angry and disgusted — and realised I had to report him.”

Well, if this information is confirmed to be true, then any sympathy I have/had for Tom Sr. went out the window. It doesn't erase any dislike I have for Meghan or Harry, though.

Agreed. Her spokesperson has attempted to spin the story as She knew it and that's why She ghosted him. Well, umm, if She knew what he is alleged to have done, and did not report him, then isn't She an accessory?

We all know what's coming: a slew of stories about Her being the victim, about Her protecting the kids, etc.

Markle says ‘deeply’ disturbing child porn allegations explain why she cut ties with dad 8 years ago

Posted by Martha on October 23, 2026, 7:15 am, in reply to "Re: Thomas Markle under investigation for ‘hundreds, if not thousands’ of child porn images: report"

It doesn't add up. He was her "Daddy" up until just before the wedding, then she halted contact. If she knew he was a pedophile then why was she still calling herself "a Daddy's girl"? She reported it years ago, but somehow kept it a secret? It's pretty sad that with Tom's own son saying he found the porn stash and called the police himself we still don't believe Her.

If the allegations are true, it does explain why she won't let her children anywhere near him. Tom, jr. says he found four boxes of images and called the police. Samantha says it's all lies. As with all things, the truth will out.

I don't believe a single word any member of that family says unless it can be corroborated by an independent source.

They all have agendas, lie through their teeth, and wouldn't stop at setting each other up. They all alternate being sucking up to each other and stabbing each other in the back.

It didn't take long for Madam to whip out her victim card and flourish it around.

Agree. The media fanning the flames with salacious headlines and articles doesn't help to clarify the story. It certainly doesn't help the victims. As for the Markle family, they could do with a strong infusion of honesty and integrity. Short of that I'd be happy to slap each one upside the head.

Met Police did not launch child sex probe into Thomas Markle - as force hunts for 2018 letter

Posted by Martha on October 23, 2026, 1:20 pm, in reply to "Thomas Markle under investigation for ‘hundreds, if not thousands’ of child porn images: report"

The Metropolitan Police revealed today that it was investigating whether a letter was shared with the Duchess of Sussex about allegations against her father eight years ago.

The force said it was making internal inquiries about officers from the Met's Royalty and Specialist Protection Command being involved in the passing on of a letter.

Meghan's half-brother Thomas Markle Jr claimed he found child sex abuse images belonging to her father Thomas Markle Sr at his former home in the Philippines.

The Duchess said today that she is 'deeply distressed' by the accusations – but Thomas Sr has denied possessing child sex images, calling the claims 'sick lies'.

It is unclear what the nature of the allegations in 2018 were and whether they are linked to the accusations raised by Thomas Sr's son now in 2026.

A Met spokesman said: 'We are aware of media reports that officers from the Met's Royalty and Specialist Protection Command were involved in the passing on of a letter in 2018. We are undertaking enquiries internally in an effort to confirm this.'

The Daily Mail understands that the Met has not previously investigated Thomas Sr and is not currently probing him.

Earlier, sources claimed authorities in the UK had previously told Meghan that allegations made about her father in a 2018 letter sent to Scotland Yard and subsequently shared with her by police were being investigated.

So, according to this analysis, Thomas Jr. is more likely to be the one who collected that vile material, and She saw a chance to replace one false narrative with another? I freely admit to going a little cross-eyed with all of this, but that's what I'm getting from this Reddit post. If Junior turns out to be the pedophile, not Senor Senior, then that demolishes Her claims and leaves her with masses of (organic, of course) egg on her face.

Re: Interesting analysis posted on Reddit

Posted by karenl on October 23, 2026, 10:25 pm, in reply to "Re: Interesting analysis posted on Reddit"

I've had almost an entire day to think it over.
The Reddit analysis is excellent. Tom Sr. and from all the stories I read over from last May, Tom jr. appears to have moved back with him. tom jr. "claims" to have found this material at the house in Cebu, doesn't alert the authorities in Cebu, they may or may not have been able to do anything, but they didn't alert the Mexican or US authorities, Tom Sr. lived, as we know for quite a while in Mexico, but he's also a US citizen. Nothing, until Tom jr. opens his mouth nearly six months later.....why the wait?
Tom jr. and Tom sr. must be on the outs again, but what happened that Junior puts this out and is trying to make himself look like a hero to society? It could very well be that Junior is the guilty one and what a great way to exact revenge by accusing your father of a sickening, horredous crime. Maybe Junior is angry about Dad's Filipino nurse girlfriend/soon to be wife.
Who knows? The family is a bunch of psychos. The 2018 letter? Why are we just now learning about "allegations"? Meghan wrote it and the Met Police messed up, but they must not have found the allegations to be true.
Oops, I meant horrendous, above.

Her lies and spinning are horrible

Posted by Hollie24 on October 24, 2026, 12:33 am, in reply to "Thomas Markle under investigation for ‘hundreds, if not thousands’ of child porn images: report"

The police have already called her out about that letter from 2018. Her lies are coming out fast and furious, and what disgusts me the most is that she is using her children to make her look like the valiant and courageous mother saving her children from an evil pedophile. That is an insult to every single victim who has been assaulted by a pedophile. It is capitalizing on the horrors others have suffered. Thomas Sr. may be a pedophile. But we know his younger daughter wasn't protecting her kids from him.

Re: Her lies and spinning are horrible

Posted by karenl on October 24, 2026, 2:24 am, in reply to "Her lies and spinning are horrible"

No, she certainly wasn't "protecting" her kids from her father. Her claim that that's the reason for "shielding" her children, it begs the question, "If you were protecting the kids all this time, why didn't you speak to the authorities?" She wouldn't have an answer. A reasonable person, finding out something like this about a family member would speak to the police and also not advertise it in the media right away.
In the majority of these cases if it's a family member, co-worker, friend etc, the person reporting is not named at all. They remain anonymous to the media. It might be reported an aunt, uncle, brother, sister reported the accused. They don't run to the media like the Markles.
Meghan put out the statement about the kids to counter people's questions concerning Tom Sr. not seeing his grandchildren all these years.
The whole thing stills smells to high heaven to me. The police are investigating. Tom Sr. hasn't been arrested or indicted, except by his two family members and the media.

Re: Meghan Has Hit A New Low

Posted by karenl on October 24, 2026, 3:09 am, in reply to "Re: Meghan Has Hit A New Low"

I just thought of something, in these cases of child porn, sexual abuse, it's the police who announce that an investigation of a person or person is going on or usually they don't announce any investigation until a person is arrested. The police will state they received info and launched an investigation. This story is getting fishier and fishier. All I can say is we will find out one way or another concerning Tom Sr. from the police.

If the letter was received by the authorities in January 2019, then being off by a few weeks puts it in a different year. To me the bigger question is why the information wasn't passed on by the Metropolitan police to other agencies for investigation. I read an article saying Tom Sr.'s first wife wrote the accusatory letter. So this must have been known about for some time.

There's a whole lot of questions that should be asked.

Regardless of who wrote the letter, why send it to the Met? They have no jurisdiction over what an American gets up to in the US or Mexico.

If it was Tom Sr's first wife, it makes even less sense to send it to the Met. The woman has grandchildren (and possibly even great-grandchildren), yet her first concern is the safety of the unborn child of the daughter of his second wife?

Nobody in the family acts out of altruism. They all have an agenda and form alliances based on the belief that "my enemy's enemy is my friend" until joining the other side looks like it would be more beneficial.

I know QEII had a real regret that she couldn't let her sister marry Townsend, to the extent that she never again refused permission to marry as required by the Royal Marriages Act. Yet, I have to wonder... how much vetting was done here? I mean, this marriage has just been one bomb after another.

I have read and do believe that if the Queen refused permission to marry they would claim racism as the reason.
It read as though refusal was truly considered.

Oh yes, this marriage has been an absolute nightmare for the Royal Family. If it isn't Harry and Meghan in the middle of some controversy or scandal, it's the psycho Markles.
I don't know how much vetting went on, but there should have been more. It's hindsight now, but Harry was in such hurry to marry Meghan and the Queen pretty much went along with it, but it's been written that she had reservations. Harry should have been told to hold his horses while BP checked into Meghan and her family, especially when she gave the Royals the sob story about being estranged from her awful family and the lies she told about her father back then. That would have been enough to say, "Whoa, we need to check all this out thoroughly." If Harry got his pants in a wad, so what? At that time, he was giving HM ultimatums and really, bullying her into letting the marriage go ahead.
I was thinking, this could backfire on Meghan. All her statements about she knew for a long time this secret about her father and didn't tell, if she and Harry were to part, the Royal Family could come back and tell her, she that she knew her father was taking part in criminal activity (of the worst kind) and withheld the info from them, so she was, aiding and abetting her father through her knowledge all the years of marriage. It's a stretch, but I would do it, especially for Markle.
This is assuming that the story about Tom Sr. is the truth and proven.

I could see why the Queen was on the fence, at the time the public and media were going on about Meghan being biracial and how wonderful it was. A refusal to let them marry would have brought all kinds of uproar and outcry. The same public that turned on Meghan a short couple of years later.

I think Harry would have pushed to marry Meghan regardless of any reservations the Royal Family may have had. Even if the royal family knew about these accusations about Markle Sr., Harry more than likely would have ignored them and probably used the accusations as another reason why he had to "protect" Meghan.

Signs suggest Thomas Markle Sr may be ‘sex offender of the grossest kind’, says Philippine minister

Posted by Jessie on October 25, 2026, 7:14 am, in reply to "Thomas Markle under investigation for ‘hundreds, if not thousands’ of child porn images: report"

From The Guardian:
"All signs point to Thomas Markle Sr being a “possible sex offender of the grossest kind” although a full forensic investigation will give a “definitive picture”, the Philippine interior minister has told the Guardian.

Authorities in the south-east Asian country are analysing digital images allegedly belonging to the estranged father of the Duchess of Sussex that were said to have been found at his former home in Cebu. Meghan’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr, reported to authorities last week that he had apparently discovered a stash of child sexual abuse images.

“In these cases where family disputes are mixed up, we have to consider all the angles,” said Jonvic Remulla, the interior minister. “Right now all signs point to a possible sex offender of the grossest kind. We want to be sure before we release the findings. The forensics data will be complete in a week.”

Remulla said a statement would be released once the data had been analysed, without giving a specific date. “Please give us a week to determine the contents and to come up with a definitive picture,” he said. “We will release a statement then..."

This would be a defense attorney's dream, coming from a defense attorney I know. She went over what's been reported so far and admitted, yes, it's all a mess.
However, as Susan pointed, each family member sides with whomever other member can be most beneficial to his/her agenda. It's a family that can be made to turn against one another in a heartbeat if they think they're in trouble. In addition, everyone, instead of getting a lawyer is talking.....especially Junior and Meghan. The Philippine minister already made a huge mistake by his statement concerning Senior...he's already created a bias and the expectation of a fair trial is tainted. That goes for the family and media.
She'd depose everyone and first thing, "Why did you wait so long? What are you gaining from this?"
Tom Sr. was ill and in bad shape for the last three years, at least. He was hospitalized many times and someone could have planted the files and videos. I'm just saying this could be brought up by a defense attorney.
The letter by the ex-wife? Nonsense, as Susan pointed out, why was she so concerned about Meghan's baby when she supposedly ignored her own children's safety all those years? The Met Police make Scooby Doo look like an ace detective and enforcer.

I admit, I get a kick out of Mark Dolan, but he can raise some serious questions...questions we've already raised.
They bring up the info that Junior notified the police in Cebu in July. I'm confused or mistaken. I went back to the Sun article and Junior makes it appear he only notified the Cebu police in the last week or so.
It's also stated that the we'll find out at the end of the week about Senior, but the Filipino Minister stated the investigation would take "several weeks". The mess continues. I did notice that suddenly the story has, for intent and purposes...suddenly dropped as a big story from the media.
