Is Meghan on the way over to London with the children?

I've seen vague articles both declaring she's airborne and speculating that she'll be in London "soon", but nothing official. That really is their last play, to offer up the children in exchange for a bit of that royal cachet they left on the bridge before they set it alight.

Meanwhile, Harry might be liable for tens of millions of pounds/dollars due to losing that lawsuit against ANL. While the Sussexes do have money, I don't think they have enough to pay whatever is ordered by the judge and stay solvent. They don't have any contracts paying them, As Ever has turned into As If and Harry can't even get sponsors for the Invictus Games. The Bank of Dad has been closed for sometime, and I don't think William will pony up any funds so Harry might be left high-centered and teetering.

Yeah, there's no way they still have the same bank balance they did when they got married. Paying off the updates to Frog Holler, putting a down payment on Montecito, spending on lawsuits and staff...

Buckingham Palace have confirmed

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have visited King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday evening that the King and Queen hosted the family at Highgrove House earlier in the afternoon.

No pap shots of Meghan and the kids going in or out of the Highgrove estate? Interesting. No photos of Charles with the children? I wonder if She and He were miked up. I bet neither of Them were happy to see Camilla...

Well now, how does she reconcile her concern for security and privacy against her need to Be Seen? Will a photo leak? Maybe a back shot of her gazing wistfully out a window towards the gardens as Charles walks with Harry and the children skip about.

Meghan must be grinding her teeth that there will be no photos of her children (Lili) on grandpa's lap to spur sales of jam and wickless candles. And none of her in a royal residence having tea with the queen. Did she give a proper curtsy this time?

It was probably just tea. No overnight stay. No re-creation of the photos of Harry and William as little boys with their parents in the gardens around Highgrove. I bet Megan is dissatisfied.

That's how I interpret the Palace's news release. The Sussexes had a "tea visit" and that's all. I would bet maybe an hour and a half or two hours at the most. It could have been only an hour with Camilla present and I'll bet staff were "around".
As the article stated yesterday, this entire visit was about money (as always), for themselves and Invictus. Oh, I'm sorry, I'm writing about the same the same goal. Invictus money is Harry and Meghan's. It wouldn't surprise me that Harry started whining and demanding the minute he crossed the doorstep.

I think it's a long-term lease by Charles from the duchy... so yeah, technically, William "owns" the house.

They've no real income, so their in dire need of a sugar daddy or mama. If Elton John didn't at least partially sponsor the Invictus Games then I don't see him paying Harry's legal fees.

I think the Bank of Eltonhas closed its doors to the greedy grifters. I also think the Bank of Charles held firm against them as well.

The bottom line is that there's no way Harry can pay that court bill. He's cost other people as well, and if there's one thing wealthy people hate, it's someone else losing their money.

Elton John is going to have to pay his share of the legal costs so, yes, no way will he help Harry. As I wrote before, Elton is probably furious with Harry anyway.
I can't see Charles helping out, he has to realize if he does, then the nagging and begging for more money from the Sussexes will never stop.
Tyler Perry can't help, he has legal problems, too. It makes me wonder that with all the cozying up to the Kardashians, Harry and Meghan were trying to get into "close friends" status as way to get money from the Kardashians. Didn't work.
I was thinking, remember Lemonada, Meghan's big podcast deal? They reran her Archetypes and it still flopped. Meghan didn't do anymore work for them. That was a half million paid out to her for nothing. They made stupid decisions due to their arrogance.

I think They are done. Her brand and business is a laughingstock, He's been exposed as a baby masquerading as a grown man, and Their grifting days are numbered.There's no one left to give them money. Oprah, Tyler Perry, Beyonce, Serena Williams, all gone. I don't think Markus has the kind of money they need. I think They are going to have to discuss bankruptcy with Their lawyers and liquidate any assets they have. and I don't feel sorry for them at all.

There was a meeting, the Palace simply doesn't put out false communiques. IF the Palace issued a false story, Harry and Meghan would be howling their heads off at the "lies" BP is putting out.
I listened to celeb podcast this afternoon and it was stated that Harry really pushed for the meeting and of course, wanted to bring the kids. We know why. Charles set the rules, absolutely no cameras and no drama. If there was any drama beforehand, the meeting would off, if any cameras showed up or "were found", the meeting was off.
"Supposedly, Harry and Meghan had snit fits, but were told, "like it or don't meet." I take this info with somewhat of a grain of salt, but...I could see it.
It was interesting that it was also released on Thur. night that Meghan wouldn't accompany Harry on any of his engagements with IG or his couple of private engagements. I think Harry was told the wife was not welcome or needed, nor their film crew.

Huh? BP made the announcement that the meetup occurred. That's all the proof needed. The announcement wouldn't have been made if a meetup did not happen.

There are lots of claims out there right now, with varying degrees of shrillness. Only Harry came. There was no meetup. The kids didn't come. They hired children to play Archie and Lili. She came but was ordered to stay outside while He and the kids had tea with the King. Camilla got into a screaming match with Him. The meetup couldn't have happened because Charles had engagements. Etc., etc., etc. BP said it happened. It happened.

I've done kind of a quick search and I couldn't find the actual communique from BP, in other instances the Palace official statement is in the Royal Family web site and nothing was listed although I could have missed it.
The only way we learned of it was the various media sources citing the statement received from BP. I'm sure the visit was announced the way it was because the King treated as strictly a private visit and nothing more.

The article is full of the usual "friends of Harry" and "Royal sources". The reason the "sources" think everything went well is that Harry was "smiling more". Uh Huh. Reportedly, they only stayed an hour? The King hadn't seen his grandchildren for four years and they stay an hour....the kids didn't even have a chance to get to know Charles in that short of a time.
We'll see when the Sussexes are back in the US and how long it will be before they slam the Royal Family with some sort of grievance.

I'm seeing a lot of hysteria from lots of commentators who should know better. It's as if something didn't happen unless we have photos or video. Charles clearly wanted this to be a very private meeting and that's exactly what it was. BP has no reason to lie or fabricate anything.

Also, quite frankly, it's none of our business. It was a private meeting. Not offical or public. There is no reason for anything to appear in the Royal Family Website or the Royal Circular. I think the Palace verbally (by phone) said that the meeting had taken place to the likes of the BBC etc. Which they dually reported. We don't need evidence, as Holly says the Palace has no reason to lie or fabricate anything. That's the job of the Sussex Camp.

Meghan's failed show earns Emmy nomination

Meghan Markle has earned a surprise Daytime Emmy nomination for her axed Netflix cooking series - eight years after she 'politely turned down' an invite to the glitzy awards ceremony.

The Duchess of Sussex, 41, launched the first series of With Love, Meghan on the streaming platform in March 2025, alongside unveiling her lifestyle brand As Ever.

A second series and Christmas special followed, with the mother-of-two offering hosting tips and cooking lessons from inside a rented £5million mansion near her and Prince Harry's Montecito home.

However, the show was largely panned by critics and viewers alike after it failed to break into the streamer's top 1,000 most-watched programmes, according to viewing figures released by Netflix.

Despite scathing reviews, the show - which was axed in January 2026 - has received a nomination in the outstanding lifestyle programme category, it was announced today.

With Love, Meghan will compete with NBC's heartwarming home makeover show, George to the Rescue, hosted by George Oliphant, which has an 8.8/10 rating on IMDB and Hallmark's The Motherhood, presented by Connie Britton.

Meghan's Emmy nomination comes nearly eight years after the Duchess declined an invitation to attend the ceremony in Los Angeles, California, shortly after marrying into the Royal Family.

The former Suits actress's decision was a 'line in the sand' between her acting career and new life as a royal at the time, sources claimed, but the Duchess is rumoured to be eyeing a Hollywood comeback after Megxit in 2020.

At the time, a source told The Sun: 'Show executives and NBC had offered Harry and her an invitation to celebrate with the biggest stars around, meet her showbiz friends and even present an honour.'

'We had hoped Meghan would attend as a way of saying goodbye to her Suits fans and colleagues.'

While Meghan had been put forward for an Emmy for her role as paralegal Rachel Zane for her final season on the American drama Suits, she never ended up being nominated.

Eight years on, Meghan is in the running for a Daytime Emmy for her Netflix series that featured guest appearances from Mindy Kaling, Tan France and Chrissy Teigen over the course of two seasons.

The show was produced as a part of Meghan and Harry's contract with Netflix, estimated to be worth over $100million (£74million), after they stepped down as senior working royals in 2020.

With Love, Meghan’s second season was the 1,124th most-watched show between July and December 2025, with two million views, according to data released by Netflix.

In January, the streaming giant axed the show after the 'tectonically tacky' Christmas special was blasted by critics.

Giving 'With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration' zero stars out of five, the Daily Mail's reviewer Annabel Fenwick Elliott called the show 'unlikeable.'

She wrote: 'It's the syrupy hypocrisy and our hostess's deep lack of self-awareness that continue to make her and this show so unlikeable.

'If only she could lean into her waspish, Type A personality - poke a little fun at herself, even - she could just about be endearing, in a Monica-from-Friends sort of way.'

In March, Meghan split from Netflix and took complete control of her As Ever food and homeware brand, as insiders said the Duchess felt Netflix was being too 'cautious' and wanted to 'go global'.

The royal couple signed a new first-look deal with Netflix last year, giving the streaming giant first option on projects by the Sussexes’ Archewell Productions.

In May, it was announced that the production company would produce a war film for the streaming giant based on an Afghanistan memoir.

US outlet Deadline said the film will tell the story of Easy Company, a unit of Paras and Royal Irish Rangers tasked with holding a district in Helmand Province in July 2006, and who came under attack from the Taliban.

The film, called No Way Out: The Searing True Story Of Men Under Siege, is based on the memoir by Major Adam Jowett, who led the unit.

It comes as Meghan's stint on MasterChef Australia is set to be broadcast later this month, with chefs challenged to create a dish fit for a Duchess.

The former actress filmed the slot when she visited Australia with husband Prince Harry during their pseudo-royal tour three months ago.

She has said her love of good food and Australia were the two reasons she chose to be a guest judge on the country's biggest TV show.

The Duchess, 44, a keen cook and founder of the As Ever lifestyle brand, left Harry flying solo when she spent a day filming a segment at MasterChef Australia's Melbourne set for the latest series of the cooking competition.

Her involvement was revealed hours later when Channel Ten released a promo video showing Meghan striding onto the MasterChef set in a chic black outfit to meet Poh Ling Yeow and fellow judges Jean-Christophe Novelli and Sofia Levin.

Today it was revealed the episode will be broadcast on Sunday, July 26, at 7pm on Channel 10, with Mediaweek reporting: 'Meghan will ask the contestants to create a dish fit for a Duchess.'

The Duchess of Sussex, who was claimed to have been 'very frustrated' when co-stars called her 'royalty' on camera, is said to set a challenge using seasonal ingredients including Brussels sprouts, celeriac and Australia's famous macadamia nuts.

Quince, lemons, apples, mandarins and strawberries were also available to chefs, along with Australian honey to sweeten the dishes - rather than her own As Ever-branded honey.

'What attracted me to the MasterChef Australia kitchen? Two things: my love of food and my love of Australia. It was an easy yes,' Meghan said in a press release announcing the broadcast date.
