There was a meeting, the Palace simply doesn't put out false communiques. IF the Palace issued a false story, Harry and Meghan would be howling their heads off at the "lies" BP is putting out.
I listened to celeb podcast this afternoon and it was stated that Harry really pushed for the meeting and of course, wanted to bring the kids. We know why. Charles set the rules, absolutely no cameras and no drama. If there was any drama beforehand, the meeting would off, if any cameras showed up or "were found", the meeting was off.
"Supposedly, Harry and Meghan had snit fits, but were told, "like it or don't meet." I take this info with somewhat of a grain of salt, but...I could see it.
It was interesting that it was also released on Thur. night that Meghan wouldn't accompany Harry on any of his engagements with IG or his couple of private engagements. I think Harry was told the wife was not welcome or needed, nor their film crew.
