The DM has a 'just-like-Diana' photo of Meghan in a blue sweatshirt and white shorts, almost identical to one taken of her mother-in-law. It's very sad that Meghan has no positive sense of self, and has to appropriate the positive attributes of others because she has nothing of herself to offer.

New York Post (How reliable????) is reporting Ari Emmanuel has dropped TOW as a client, but WME is still working with Archewell on projects (what projects?). Dan Wooten (poor boy) is reporting about the New York Post article and chortling about TOW being dropped. Oh, boy. Things may not be going well for TOW whichever way you look at it.

I don't think anyone in Hollywood will represent her now. Two major firms have dropped her. She's not getting any invitations anywhere and what few projects she's managed to produce have flopped. And the few people who have bankrolled or otherwise supported her have either made a strategic exit or are in hot water themselves.

Too bad they burned so many bridges.

This sounds like a game of semantics. Ari Emmanuel is no longer representing her, but WME is still working with Archewell. My hunch is that the "work" consists of trying to get some money out of this mess before they sever all ties.

The story came out a few months after she signed on to WME, that they signed her on because Serena Williams "begged" Ari Emmanuel to take Markle on and get Markle "off her back". If that truly happened, then WME wasn't taking Markle on because she was/is a true money making talent. It may have been a grudging favor. Right they sign her on, the car chase hoax happens. WME could not have okayed that plot in advance, their reputation would be on the line.
I think WME dropped Markle, but I don't see why they would still work with Archewell, Archewell equals Meghan Markle and no one is touching it. As far as getting any of their money out of Markle is a lost cause and perhaps they just ate the losses in order to get rid of her. I'm sure she wasn't paying their bills, either. Netflix may have to eat big losses also if they dump the Harkles, but it would be to get rid of them.

I'm wondering about all their creditors. They must owe money to many, many people, with no prospect of being able to pay them off. The Bank of Charles was pulled off the table a few years ago. The Banks of Serena and Oprah have also packed up. Tyler Perry? That branch needs all its assets for the legal issues it's facing. That leaves...well,no one. And if they're both doing drugs again... Well, they're in a giant mess of their own making.

Are they really hurting for money? I don't know. I'm pretty sure they did not get as much money as was touted, i.e., from Netflix, Spotify, etc. But Harry is evidently getting money from the Aspen Institute, BetterUp, his mother's legacy and the queen mother's legacy. I assume he got some from the Queen and Prince Philip when they died. TOW reportedly came with $5million when she married Harry, but that is questionable. They also got money from Prince/King Charles for a while. I can't even imagine having that much money, let alone spending that kind of money, but then I'm not TOW. I imagine their expenses are high, though, so maybe they are hurting for money. It is just mindboggling.

Harry reportedly receives $1 million a year from BetterUp ( I think) and it was reportedly $500,000 or $ 1 million per year from the Aspen Institute, which is a joke as Harry has done even less for the Institute as he has as CHIMPO for BetterUp.
It wouldn't surprise me that the money he received from his mother, QEQM, and his grandparents has been used up. Not only do Harry and Meghan spend on themselves like there's no tomorrow, there's the mortgage plus upkeep on Casa del Sussex, if they live there. In addition to all the costs of living that we unwashed public pay, electricity, gas, water, sewer. Then there's the taxes on the property etc. Plus the $4-4.5 million for their stupid security goons.
Even if they live separately, Meghan isn't going to pay rent or whatever, Harry will have to pay her expenses or the kids will be withheld from him. I still think that the amt. of money they are to receive from Netflix for "production", they use that as personal spending, the same with Spotify when they were under contract.

Don't forget non-Archewell staff. I'm sure they have a cook, a couple of housemaids, a nanny or two for Archie and Lili (I think Doria's gone), a gardener (or at least a lawn service) and so on. That all adds up.

They have to be close to broke. Neither one seems to have any money sense and they spend money like crazy.

Oh yes, there's the staff and I don't think Doria is around much anymore either. When Meghan turns to WME, maybe not anymore, they charge $3500/hr. Oh, and don't forget all of Harry's legal expenses with his plethora of lawsuits. Meghan has a lawyer or two plus legal staff with her trademark/patent stuff plus whatever else. It all adds up. Then the exclusive school/preschool for the kids.

The Duchess of Sussex is planning to sell biscuit and pancake mixes under her newly rebranded lifestyle company 'As Ever', trademark filings have revealed.

Meghan Markle said on February 18 that her venture was being renamed from American Riviera Orchard because that name limited her to locally-produced goods.

Now, a new application made to the US Patent and Trademark Office on the same day has revealed a series of products she is looking to sell under the 'As Ever' brand.

On the list are goods that will compete with big names such as Betty Crocker and Dr Oetker, including 'mixes for bakery goods; cookie mixes; biscuit mixes; crepe mixes', which come under international trademark class 30, a category for food products.

As Ever pancake mix? In my home? As if!

I think I'll stick to Betty Crocker, Duncan Hines, Hungry Jack, Bisquick, and Jiffy. Heck, I'll go one further and stick to the recipes handed down from my Mom, my Gram, and my Grandpa (he made the best drop scones--like American pancakes, but much more thick and oh so yummy). Plus I--we--know TOW will have stolen all her products from someone else anyway.

I'm just laughing. She pulled this Patent/Trademark scheme and got rejected in 2022. So she changes the "name" to ARO and got rejected in 2024, so she's going back to As Ever and has added even more junk that she wants to grift, I mean sell. Next it will be cryptocurrency.
I'm still laughing over the pancake/biscuit mixes. Meghan the empowered woman has fallen to selling pancake mix.

It would be interesting to know who is backing her financially in this venture and no, it's not Netflix despite what she and the tabloids gush about.
I can't see a reputable banking/lending institution taking a chance on her given her lack of experience in starting and running a business on a day to day basis. In addition, everyone is turning to the lifestyle business, it's crowded. This could be where all of Harry's inheritance money is winding up.
