They're in quite the financial pickle. I think they made some good money at first, when they were first signing deals. But their ongoing success didn't materialize and neither did the full payment on promised but undelivered content. Did they think the money would continue appear magically into their accounts? Wanting money and feeling they deserve it isn't the same as earning it and having providing security for yourself. I think they have a middle-schooler's understanding of how the world works.
