OK. You can adopt some "stranger" to be the next emperor but you're still not allowed for your daughter to be the next monarch because she's not a male. I'm a history teacher and I understand and appreciate traditions but really? Tell me again what year this is. What terrible thing do they expect to happen if a female were to become their Empress?
