The rehash in the DM is just bad. They said Philip and Elizabeth met at Alexandra's house, Thatched House Lodge, before they were married, and that she was asked to be a bridesmaid because she "helped their romance." Um, no.

I remember the scandal at the time. It really was pretty shocking.
