I don't think James will do any public engagements. His parents and teachers have no doubt worked very hard with him, but he's not yet up to dealing much with the public. He was the only grandson who didn't walk behind the Queen's coffin and I don't think he would do well with royal duties.

Lady Louis would be a great candidate, but I think she wants a private life. Same with Beatrice and Eugenie.
