I got the manioc bread mix, hooray.
Now, I may not be able to eat the plain, which I love, but we'll see. It's got cream of tartar in it, and I've had headaches, which might be from the smoke, though. (anything with sulfites, gives me migraines.)
The onion-garlic breadstick mix doesn't, and I've not noticed a problem with it.
It's been great having bread!!!
I've had it with egg, meat strips, and also spread a piece with Sunbutter.
I remembered today, that it makes great 'pockets.' They are simply like a savory hand pie, empanada, etc.
I used to make them with patty melt filling, chicken pot pie filling, etc. They freeze beautifully, and reheat in a toaster oven perfectly.
I'd love to fill my freezer with them. So, that's my next project, if we can work out getting some meat.
I'm easy to please if I've got a piece of manioc. Then other day, I took the lemon-chive dressing, and just enjoying dipping the bread in it.
We're doing big shopping Monday. I'm a little worried that it won't go well once Ds is tired, hungry, etc. Generally, we take his day off to shop, as he has to hit 3-4 stores in 2 towns. But, he found out yesterday that he has to work in the early part of the day, before shopping. Not sure it will work...
But, am working on lists anyway, hoping that it does work.
