What Ds likes about spaghetti, is that it lasts them more than a day. They can eat it as spaghetti, bake some with cheese on top for ddil, etc.
I'm not sure on the price of yeast.
Well, before you use it, proof it, to make sure that it's viable, before you mix it with all of your flour, and such.
I mix mine with some warm water, about 105 degrees, and a teaspoon or 2 of sugar. While it's sitting for a few minutes, maybe 5-10, but not much more, I mix together my other ingredients in another bowl. Then, if the yeast got nice and foamy, I continue.
A couple of tips are:
Don't mix in cold or very hot water when making your bread, as either can harm your yeast.
Don't mix your salt with the yeast directly, as it's hard on yeast.
Measure how much warm water or warm milk that you mix the yeast in, so that you can subtract that amount from your bread. It counts as part of your recipe's liquid.
I hope that it comes out perfectly!
Oh, delicious sounding lunch/dinner!
