I am so sorry you have to continue to deal with this. Hopefully the chicken got done.
Can you put a large pan on the BBQ to make your stew??? I sure hope you have charcoal etc.
I know you have been thinking outside the box, pan, whatever. Good luck praying you are able to get it all done in time.
My week ended better when the kids brought up - unexpectedly, 3 5 gallon jugs of H2o. Shocked is what I was. The large bleach was also a great gift.
They had their masks and gloves with them. Which I was relieved to see. I did post more about this on TeaTime. Especially about the McD's breakfast they picked up for me. I'd been dying for any fast food.. taking them to breakfast was worth it.
My meals were erratic.
Breakfasts were often brunch. For I was trying to get Charlie, & me, out before it rained.
Thank goodness for my ranch work jacket. I look absurd as it is oversized to accommodate extra sweats & etc., plus a jacket underneath. I put on socks then bread bags then another pair of socks when wearing the boots. Did I mention they are Saude with and fur lined? And with holes in the both toes now, thus the bread bags.
LOL My work gloves are constantly wet.. as it is too warm to have heater on. So they are in library in front of e-heater and dry so SLOOOOOWLY! I have to wear a cap to keep the hood from falling in front of my eyes.
LOL Thought you would enjoy the image.
I've eaten more of my pint bags of soup. Still a few left then time to make more. Tamale and Minestrone. I have enough broth for those right now.
Ok meals were soup for breakfast, or 2 slices any toast with either PNB or cheese. Lots of pancakes with syrup or honey. Thankfully loaded with blueberries and Raspberries.
Fried eggs or an omelette with veggies, O, Prps, cheese, herbs & so on. A bit of sausage.
Grilled cheese and PNB sandwiches, pepperoni & cheese casa dea . Shrimp cocktail for Lunch & Dinners. All gone now. Flatbread pizzas... veggies no meat.
I concentrated on big breakfast or lunch when possible.
Had pickles with any sandwich. Ramen and peas soup.
Any leftovers in the freezer(s) - mostly veggies and soups.
I filled with the last of the tortilla chips & salsa. Made some of the package of fridge cinnamon buns. @ at a time just opened the last pack of 6. Used the SelfChef with the new rubber support. I forgot foil to keep the buns from trying to fall through the spaces of the rack. Luckily they just had dents in their bottoms. LOL
McDs Sausage & egg McMuffins with hash brown were breakfast & lunch yesterday. I had chicken stuffing with cranberry sauce and corn niblets for dinner. I needed carbs.
I only crashed my BS 1 day - weeding and cleaning alot lol - and my BP went up last night. Not sure why for I was at ease. So had to take my HBP Med a whole one.. it was over 160.
The E-heater was on all night and I know I kept tossing & turning. Not sure if that is part of the problem. I'm walking 10 to 11 laps which is about normal.
I know I am expending a lot of energy on DD. Creative but mostly it is Pay week which sucks and entails the week prior to payday and the week after as I pay everything. I got a break in my power bill. Saved more than normal YEAH!
And now I start shopping online. I hate beginning new procedures. Plus WHAT DO I REALLY NEED? is the driving question.
Ordering part 2 of pet order. It's not quite half of order 1. But it stays within my budget. Then I need to order Dry dog, Dog canned and small dry cat. Then I will be done with that. And stocked till beginning of June. I will save and get extra if needed.
I will buy mostly canned goods, fruit cups and some boxed stuff. I have more than enough food, funds, etc to carry through till June.
I just need to get Charlie to the vet the last day of April lol to. Payday is on Friday in May. Talk about timing.
I also haven't touch much meat but for leftovers and hotdogs, sausage etc. Still chicken, pork, ham and polish sausage, some gd pork and gd beef to work with.
I feel so guilty talking about what I have when you are is such a tight spot.
Praying things turn around ASAP.
