again, what caliber of coach do you think he'd hire.
I think Brent Hilliard is an example of the type of coach we'd expect to get. not saying we'd hire him, just to illustrate an example. and he possibly could work out, but with all his experience, look at how he's struggled as SDSU.

I've been to enough practices and watched enough matches to know she is mostly faking it til she makes it. If the new coach kept Bjorn (and maybe Jordan), I don't think there would be mass defections. Previous Message

We definitely won't be hiring a better coach if there's no search. I don't think the AD has much of a clue about volleyball coaches, but he should at least take the opportunity to look at some resumes and gauge interest in the job before signing away the next 5 years of the program. I agree with everything, except I think she can become the best coach in the Big West, which is probably Walter's right now outside of Hawaii

It’s a bit mixed. Blocking is 2nd, opponent hit % is lowest, and digs per set are dead last. Our team passing, per Volleymetrics, is in the bottom 3rd. 8th or 9th in kills/points, yet 3rd in hit % (.219)

IMO the close of the season is the appropriate time to extend the contract if that is the direction the AD chooses. I expect that to happen unless there is a season ending collapse.
Coach has done a good job with the team and I like the starting lineup moves she has made. I believe sticking with the 6-2 with Meyers back maybe the difference in pushing the team over the top in the conference tournament. Would love to see a win tonight at Hawaii. Previous Message
