I no longer live in SoCal, so attending games in person is harder now, I do watch most all of them on ESPN+, and I was in Cali last year in Feb and March, so I got to see several games in person (not as many as I would have liked)
As to Jadon, he was hampered by the shoulder and I think he also had a foot or ankle thing at one point. Towards the end of the season, he was beginning to look like himself. I really hope we can have a healthy season for a change.
Sparky, I appreciate how much time and thought you put into your posts. I think you and CC are likely right that Thompson will be running our offense. I do sometimes wonder if you've actually seen the players in practice or in games, live. I went to several practices last year and saw all our home games. I never saw Ngoyi do anything. Absolutely anything anyone says about him his highly speculative...and suspect. Tsohonis' problem, aside from throwing bricks up from the perimeter, was holding the ball too long. He certainly does not have the instincts to play the point. He can score and can be effective on a wing. Our biggest question mark is probably Jadon. Yes he was hampered by that shoulder last year and we have no idea whether he can return to form. Another question mark is Hart. He has the resume of an excellent point. I don't know why but in practices last year he looked lost and at times flat out disinterested. When Murray went out CDM was pretty clear that he didn't think Hart could help. In any case, we are all optimistic about this roster and this next season. The only rally killer could be you know who. I sorely hope CDM can rise to the occasion and get folks talking about bringing him back year to year. Note...I am not saying bring him back. I just hope we are having the discussion.
