Juan Lopez is recruiting kids to go to Ike and Brian Gibson is recruiting for La Salle.

Well, if It gets my kid a Scholly like some of these recruiter type dudes say it's all good. I've seen and heard about some of these chaps along the way. Any others? That sees low.

Who cares? Most all teams open their doors for wrestlers. You’d be dumb not to. I’m fairly certain Ike isn’t promising them a new Mercedes and a phat bank roll, lol. Just offering kids an option.

One coach can't stay at a school long enough to build there own wrestler and the other leaves kids in a hotel unsupervised and then part of a hit and run.

^^ Valid point on the hit and run. Wasn’t that Davis HS and almost the entire boys coaching squad? I’d blame Davis for that

lol oh come on dude literally EVERY club has alliances with a High School or 2, but that does not mean all the club wrestlers go to that HS. LaSalle sessions are mostly ALL beginner youth not even in 5th grade yet, young as 4 I believe just learning the sport. It’s actually a really awesome thing for all. Can’t speak for the Ike comment but feel free reach out to Lopez and let us know how it turns out for you. *And truth be told if LaSalle, a private school, wanted to recruit they absolutely could like ALL private schools do in WA State. However LaSalle literally doesn’t even have a HS team so your tiny little,,.,.,., argument is pointless

Im assuming the point being made was that a coach who was fired along with two other individuals who should not be involved with kids is trying to make his way back into a room.
This was seen last year at state with both ike and davis at wrestling events.
Lopez girlfriend who is a coach trying to pull strings and get kids in is what is most likely going on.
the issue shouldn't be that Lopez is doing this, the issue is why the School, A.D and HC are allowing these obviously type of unqualified bad reputation type individuals bad in after they were fired.
If the stories are even remotely accurate to being true then these individuals should never be allowed to work in a school district ever again.

Problem is parents aren’t seeing the whole picture. The wrestling program might be better but the school and academics might not. A few lower valley small teams seem to be aggressively recruiting from some of the bigger schools.
