The only way that a score is kept at individual state is if the classification did not have a dual state tournament. Boys 4A, 3A, 2A and 1A will not officially keep score. The dual meet team champ will be the state champion.

I imagine that girls 4A and 3A should have a dual state tournament. All the other classifications don't have enough schools with at least 8 weight classes represented for a dual meet. I know the rule book states that 7 weight classes are needed for a dual, I am a fan of eight.

I guess we will see. I know what I will be an advocate of when decision time comes at my level.
