If any of you complaining about this constantly paid attention or hav3 been around the sport in coaching circles. You would know for 10 years some of the top coaches in the state have been calling for straight to state and do away with regionals. It's not all 5he WIAA, even though a reason they got on board 2as because regionals was losing money for them. Nothing is watered down and imo, this format will make wrestling stronger in the state. It will help more wrestlers realize what's possible and they will want to focus on their wrestling more.
