The tournament has a cap for participants.

Once reached there are some things to factor in….divisions and which session they will wrestle in.

How many officials are available

After those factors are considered there is a chance it opened again to allow X number of athletes in and the closes after met again.


Some of the HS kids will not wrestle in it after a long 2 day HS tournament and that sucks because they used up part of the registration numbers but several will.

Opens….we want college wrestling here but let’s cut out their division? That doesn’t make sense either. Washington is one of the few states that still has open divisions. It’s great for those of us that want to compete still!
