1. No. The WIAA has specific guidelines toward this in its handbook. With that said, we know certain coaches and programs skirt the rules... but it's not allowed. There is a narrow window in the summer when all coaching is allowed.

2. Yes. A long time ago, a group of coaches sued the WIAA, which established Freestyle/Greco as distinct, separate sports from folkstyle. As such, there is no limitation on club FS/Greco practices as far as the WIAA is concerned. The WSWA has a competition season for FS/GR, but there are no rules against practicing year round.

3. Per WIAA guidelines, yes. However, most districts with open enrollment (where kids get to choose their HS and it's not based on proximity/location) will have rules about this.
